Meraki Wellness Center LLC (“Meraki Wellness Center”) works with the third-party company US BioTek to allow visitors to purchase their own lab testing kits.
Lab kits and test results are supplied by US BioTek and not by Meraki Wellness Center.

Lab test purchases include an educational review with a Meraki Wellness Center health coach.

Dr. Torrie Thompson, DC does not review your labs. The lab will notify us when your test has been released for review. It takes approximately 2-3 weeks to process and generate results.

Once your results are released, someone from our team will reach out to schedule your review with a health coach and discuss next steps.

Note that all health coach reviews are based solely on what the health coach sees from the results (i.e., the health coach does not know your complete health history/ current supplements and medications/ or pre-existing condition(s) etc.), and no medical advice, diagnosis or treatment is provided.

No doctor-patient relationship is established with Dr. Thompson or any healthcare provider associated with Meraki Wellness Center by your purchase of a lab test.

Meraki Wellness Center is not responsible for following up on any abnormal results. You are solely responsible for making an appointment with a licensed healthcare practitioner to review your lab results and obtain medical advice.

We recommend you schedule an appointment to review any abnormal results with a licensed healthcare practitioner in your state.
Currently, direct to consumer labs are not available to customers in NY, NJ, RI, Puerto Rico, and outside the U.S. due to jurisdictional laws and regulations.

All sales are final, and no refunds can be offered once you purchase your test. Once you place your order, you waive any rights to charge-back your purchase with your credit card processor.

Purchasing a lab test from the Meraki Wellness Center / Dr. Torrie Thompson, DC website does not create a provider-patient relationship between you and Dr. Torrie Thompson, DC.

Functional lab tests do not demonstrate absolute positive and negative predictive values for any disease state or condition. This lab test’s clinical utility has not been fully established. These lab tests are for wellness and informational purposes only. The test has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Although FDA does not currently clear or approve laboratory-developed tests in the U.S., certification of the laboratory is required under CLIA to ensure the quality and validity of the tests.
